Biography
Maybel M. Tan, MD is a board-certified nephrologist. She earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine, Yangon; completed her residency in internal medicine at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital; and completed fellowship training in nephrology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
At LA County Nephrology Associates, Dr. Tan treats patients with a wide range of kidney and kidney-related conditions, with clinical interests that include chronic kidney disease (CKD), acute kidney injury (AKI), hypertension, glomerular disease, kidney stones, and electrolyte imbalances.
